Small Animal

Cats, rabbits and other small animals all get injured at times. They also can have underlying conditions that affect their movement, pain levels and quality of life, just as much as dogs and horses, and as such they can benefit just as much from physiotherapy treatment as others do.

A feline patient is most definitely not a canine patient, that is very true, but the healing mechanisms and therapeutic treatments available to them is, pretty much, the same. Although hydrotherapy could, but may well not, suit your cat for example, your Vet Physio has a lot of other tricks available to help treat your cat after injuries, diseases or pathological diagnoses such as:

  • Arthritis
  • Cerebellar hypoplasia
  • Fractures and soft tissue damage after RTA’s or fights
  • Spinal cord trauma
  • Cruciate ligament injury
  • Traumatic stifle luxation
  • Gingivitis.

KAP is lucky to know some excellent therapists throughout the country to be able to work with almost any animal that needs some help so contact us today to see how we can help you and your pet.

PS – despite mostly working with dogs, I’m a crazy cat lady at heart so love the opportunity to help any of our feisty felines! 🙂
